it was a nice evening,
we talked in amazement,
wonder,
and respect.

as soon as you walked in,
late.. after it was over (might i add)
both of us wanted to throw up
the darkness that surrounded you was overwhelming at times

we continued to talk,
even including you in the conversation.

everything we mentioned,
you shot down..
you had an explaination for all of it
like you wanted us to feel shame
